Examples of how Maitland and Associates could work with you to achieve your fundraising goals.

Problem

Wanted regular funding applications submitted but no one on staff wanted to do them, had time to or even wanted to learn how to. They were focused on their usual roles and preparing applications for funding was of no interest, eventhough they realised the importance any income would be for their organisation

Solution

Contracted Maitland and Associates to prepare and submit applications on an ongoing basis.

Problem

A local organisation providing a much needed service but had never really fundraised before and lacked the knowledge on where to start.

Solution

Problem

A regional organisation realised the potential income from Trust applications and had a staff member who was happy to apply but they had no knowledge of what to do or where to start. The organisation has never applied to any Trust before and had no system of identifying Trusts or tracking applications etc.

Solution

Contracted Maitland and Associates to work with the staff member to teach her about Trusts and Foundations, where to find them, what they fund, how to apply, what to include and to develop a system to track applications, closing dates, when accountability is due etc.

Problem

A national organisation’s Direct Mail Manager had resigned unexpectedly and needed to leave quickly due to a family issue. There was a direct mail acquisition letter to 50,000 people scheduled that needed to proceed but the vacancy wouldn’t be filled in time.

Solution

Maitland and Associates was contracted to ensure the mailing occurred and nothing was missed while there was no-one in the role.
